Jira actions let you search, create, and update Jira and Jira Service Management work directly from Glean, so teams can manage tickets without leaving their existing workflows. The Jira action pack includes actions to search Jira with JQL using natural language, create Jira issues, submit requests in Jira Service Management, and add comments to existing tickets, returning structured results in chat or guiding users through required fields when creating new work. Each user connects their own Jira account via OAuth, ensuring actions run with the right permissions and attribution, making Jira Actions an effective way to streamline engineering and IT support processes across agents and the Glean Assistant.
Jira actions are supported only for Jira Cloud instances. Jira Server and Jira Data Center (on‑prem) instances are not supported for actions.
